Kenji’s art includes more than forty screenprints of flowers and (or) birds. Ten examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Some of his flower and bird subjects are real (e.g. pictures 1-2) while others are imaginary (e.g. 3-8) . He calls the imaginary birds in pictures 6-8 “bird dollies”. Both the bird dollies and real birds are drawn in a creative way, making them look like cartoon characters, while the flowers are more true-to-life. To see more of Kenji's prints click here.
